Beautifully illustrated throughout, this 96 page hardback book by Christopher Vine is a really great addition to the Peter's Railway Series. Fully illustrated throught with excellent colour line drawings and a wealth of diagrams.

The book includes the science and engineering of railway locomotives and there is a technical section at the end of each chapter (the story can be read without addressing the technical side).The story. Peter and his Grandpa are a great team and the story is beautifully written.
